Our Club

All age groups are represented in our club. We put a lot of energy and effort into every single student. We also attach great importance to the fact that all members feel comfortable in our midst and create an atmosphere in which children and adults experience joy of life and diversity. We offer self-defence and self-confidence, as well as reaction and concentration training and not to forget an active, versatile club life with everything that goes with it, such as events and excursions (which of course are not mandatory). It is important to us to convey an understanding of karate and the movements that occur in it, instead of letting our members simply learn them by heart only.

We are very open-minded and happy to welcome every newcomer! :)

You will get more impressions of us by browsing through our Gallery and/or by visitting our social media accounts.
However, the best insight can be attained by dropping by for a free trial training. You are very welcome!

Taught Style - Goju-Ryu Karate

There are many different styles in karate. Basically, a distinction is made between traditional karate and sports karate. As the name says, traditional Okinawa Goju-Ryu Karate is assigned to traditional karate styles. There are only few competitions, but the focus is on self-defence. Accordingly, mainly techniques of self-defence are practiced. Besides punching and kicking techniques, lever and throwing techniques are also of great importance. Traditional Okinawa Goju-Ryu Karate can be learned by anyone, regardless of age.

Our karate classes promote strength for the body, concentration for the mind, and strengthens the will and self-confidence. Children train their coordination and concentration in a calm, disciplined atmosphere: anxious children build up their self-confidence and fidgety, restless children learn to better control their energy.
